The Al Borgo restaurant boasts an exceptional location: it is in fact located inside an ancient 18th century Venetian villa that originally belonged to the Doglioni, one of the oldest noble families in Belluno. In 1975 the ownership of the villa passed to Giuliano Viel, who with a restoration work converted it into a restaurant.
The warm and welcoming interiors are embellished with works of art by local artists, such as the sculpture The Four Seasons by Franco Fiabane. The wooden furnishings dominate and the two fireplaces stand out, one of which with an original chafing dish. On hot summer days it is possible to have lunch outside in the stone cavea. Villa Doglioni adheres to the Tourist Enhancement Plan of the Venetian Villas.
